Designed with the occupier in mind, the building provides an environmentally-conscious workspace which holds wellbeing at its heart. EPD created a light, dramatic reception area filled with leafy green plants and key furniture pieces.  New male and female facilities were designed and installed throughout the building.

As Altrincham is a rapidly developing, creative neighbourhood, we felt it was only right to push the design of this building forward with high impact colour palettes and furniture choices to offer the local market a vibrant, contemporary base from which to develop their businesses.  We also wanted the project to have excellent eco credentials with an emphasis on biophilia, so we looked at introducing lots of planting to the entrance reception.

The lush greenery was offset with natural materials and textural finishes, combining poured concrete flooring, exposed brick,  timber ceiling fins and shelving & steel in the bespoke industrial desk design.  An unusual polished plaster wall was installed behind the reception desk, constructed from varying colours and textures to further enhance the raw, natural palette chosen for the building.

We used a mix of established, quality suppliers alongside less well-known brands to deliver a unique, tailored result.
