Whitecross Studios, a newly renovated multi-let office building moments from the ‘Silicon Roundabout’ in East London.

EPD were given 3 weeks to bring the space to life by planning and installing furniture, artwork, planting and accessories in time for the building launch event.

The key to this space was to enhance the minimal, industrial finishes already in place, with a small number of high impact items.

For the reception we sourced a large-scale, vivid yellow painting by British artist Sara Dare and painted a number of walls a dark grey to provide a dramatic backdrop for the art.  A deep terracotta contemporary lounge chair, smoked glass floor lamp and oversized tropical planting provided the finishing touches.

For the courtyards we divided the spaces into communal dining, private seating and gaming areas through colourful, mismatched dining furniture, lounge seating groups & ping pong and table football.  Each space was softened with lush greenery from groups of sculptural plants to large hanging plant displays to break up the concrete walls.
