EPD were appointed to lead the interior design of converting an existing undercroft car park into communal facilities for the tenants.  We transformed the car park into the true heart of Coda Studios including a new gym, lounge & meeting room for people to socialise, collaborate and relax.

An impressive break out space was achieved through the use of textured herringbone flooring and wall panelling to add warmth and depth, accompanied by a wide variety of finishes, colours, metals, patterns and textures.

Various lighting styles from burnished brass wall lights, fabric floor lamps and a contemporary statement chandelier helped to create an informal and inviting atmosphere.  Industrial and vintage furniture pieces further add domestic character creating the lived in, lounge style aesthetic desired by the Client.

Defined areas for informal meetings, solo working, and relaxation along with a formal meeting room for tenants to book for staff presentations or external client meetings encourage staff engagement and a sense of community.
