Project Overview
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Camden, Albert Street offers an exceptional self-contained office space, spanning approximately 13,000 sq ft. This property combines historical charm with modern amenities, creating an ideal environment for forward-thinking businesses.

The Brief
EPD was challenged to execute a partial fit-out, emphasising key zones such as reception, 1st floor landing area, kitchen and roof terrace to maximise the space’s potential. The objective was to create a distinctive & inviting atmosphere, ensuring a memorable first impression for potential occupiers.

Design Vision
Drawing inspiration from the building’s original decorative features, EPD meticulously set about crafting a series of high-impact areas based on the stunning marble staircase that ascends from the reception area to the first-floor office space. Our design palette incorporates a harmonious blend of colours and textures and hues of reds, creams, and sands, were selected to mirror the intricate details of the marble.

To complement these traditional elements, we introduced a mix of classical and contemporary materials, including terrazzo, polished plaster, and timbers seen in the joinery and standout timber panelled wall with integrated multi-coloured recessed lighting. The result is a layered, sophisticated environment, further enhanced by striking furniture styles and vibrant contemporary accents. This fusion of the classic and the modern creates a dynamic and engaging workspace.

Outcome
The refurbishment was successfully completed in October 2022, delivering a refreshed and inspiring office environment that pays homage to the building’s heritage.
